Application acceptance period
From six months in advance of the desired date up to one week in advance. For days when the superintendent is not present or the facility is closed, the preceding day is acceptable. 

Reservation instructions
  1. Check if the room is available at the reception.
  2. Make reservation through the form on this site.
    Reservation requests may also be made by emailing or faxing a “application for use” form obtained on this site or at the reception, filling out the necessary items, and sending or faxing it in.

Confirmation
You will receive confirmation email from the reception about two weeks in advance of your planned starting date.

Changing or canceling reservations
Please contact the reception (office) regarding any changes or cancellations to your reservation.

(Research Room, Shared Research Room)

Long term rental spaces
  • Every day that the facility is not closed (i.e. The facility is closed 12/31 – 1/3).  Users with contracts may use the facilities even when the superintendent is absent.
  • Research laboratories are rented by the month. Shared laboratories are available for rental for any period of days longer than one week.

Application acceptance period
From six months in advance of the desired date up to three months in advance.  For days when the superintendent is not present or the facility is closed, the preceding day is acceptable.

How to apply
  1. Check if the room is available at reception.
  2. Make a reservation through the form on this site. At this point you will also fill out the research or activity plans on the form. Please apply at least 3 months in advance of the day you plan to begin use.
    Upon a review of the research or activity plans by the Rikuzentakata Global Campus management, the rental can be approved. You will be notified of the result of the review by 2 months in advance of your planned starting date.
    Additionally, the reservation can be obtained by e-mail or fax after acquiring the application for research or activity plans from the reception or this site and filling it out.
